God is a Holy God and cannot dwell in sin…
The regenerative power of the Holy Spirit consummates the rebirth experience when one accepts Jesus Christ, and in their mind, they actually believe that God sent His son to die a horrible, lonely death, and to then raised Him from the dead three days later. This confession should be made out load because it establishes a reality of the act of accepting Jesus.
Romans 3:25; 6:23; 10:9-10; John 6:53; 1 John 1:9
With this statement, you are acknowledging that Jesus paid the death penalty for ALL sins. You are accepting the blood of Christ for your sins and have put faith and trust in the blood. You are made clean and whole, washed completely of ALL sin. If you come to light and expose yourself to God’s glory, you allow Him to bring resurrection life. This exposure allows you to become the new creature that God can use in His Great Divine Plan made us, on the inside. Scriptures teach that life is in the blood, and in the blood of Christ is His very life.
This proclamation is a way for God to come and regenerate your spirit. Remember, God is a Holy God and cannot dwell in sin. Therefore, Jesus Christ makes way for the sinner to become born again.
Read the story of Nicodemus in John 3.
John 3:7, “Marvel not that I say unto thee, ye must be born again,” a bold statement made by Jesus to Nicodemus. If Jesus said that you must be born again, then you must be born again. A man cannot see, nor enter the Kingdom of God unless you are born again.
Okay, a little Greek… The phrase “born again” comes from two Greek words, gennao, meaning born, and anothen, meaning “from above.” When you accepts the shed blood of Christ and believes that He saved you, you release the Holy Spirit to enter and make you gennao anothen. “Old things are passed away, and all things become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Once regenerated, by the incorruptible seed of the Word through the operation of the
Scripture says it all – have become new in accepting the incorruptible seed of the Word of God.
It is up to you to begin the conversation of accepting Jesus invitation. An auricular confession of faith, make you feel empowered and like a new creation made in the image of Christ and not be moved by that which we see in our lives that would contradict what.
Philemon 1:6; 2 Peter 1:4
Peter wrote about divine nature and the result of being born again. It is a fact that you no longer have to try to become Christ-like through outward rules of the old law, but through a new covenant with God, you just made with your confession. You are now a partaker of the divine nature. You are still a sinner by nature, and will miss the mark, have failures, and be frustrated, but you now have the power to come to the Lord and confess. You were not taught how to sin, it comes “natural,” but have been taught how to be gennao anothen. You have been renewed, reborn in the image of Christ.
